    Samsung Intros New N110 Netbook
    [IMG]
Samsung has introduced a new 10.1-inch netbook to its lineup, the N120. The notebook has the form factor of a 12-inch notebook to accomodate a full-size keyboard. The company claims a 10.5 hour battery life from the six-cell battery. The N120 is expected to be available in Europe in April; there is no word on price.

Wow, how saturated can this market become? Just so many netbooks, not that I am complaining.

Seeing that bezel on the side, I can't help but feel they should have released it with an 11.6" screen like that upcoming Acer Aspire will have.

Next up from Samsung a 10.1" screen in a 17" chassis to accommodate a full sized keyboard and numpad. :/

shouldn't the title say Samsung N120 instead of N110?

There seems to be an avalanche of new Samsung netbooks since there are also the N110 and the N310. The N120 looks to be the direct NC10 successor while the others offer more style, for those who want it.

Speakers on the bezel? Lol, i think they should save that for toys only hopefully that results in SOME type of good sound quality. Almost all netbooks have poor sound maybe this will be a change? ....I Hope

It gets kind of confusing with the way they serialize them.

I'd much prefer different resolution (higher) panels, and different hardware config. It's almost like the way some car manufacturers work, same engine, multiple bodies it goes into with almost no difference really.

If they were going to use a 12" chassis, why not use a 12" screen and raise the price $50? It makes significantly more sense to do that, ala Dell's Mini 12.

Samsung have recently released the 12.1" NC20 which they probably think fills that slot for the moment.
