    Samsung Intos 80, R30 Series Notebooks

    CES 2010 - Samsung has launched the latest additions to its notebook lineup, the 80 and R30 series.


    The 80 series includes the 14.0-inch R480, 15.6-inch R580, and 17.3-inch R780 models. They are available with Samsung's "Touch of Color" gradiation design with various patterns. Other specifications include available Blu-ray drives, and the R580 and R780 have an Nvidia GeForce GT 310M and 330M video card, respectively. All 80 series notebooks are based on the latest Intel Core i3-330M/i5-430M processors and have 500GB hard drives.


    The R30 series is similar to the 80 series and includes the 14.0-inch R430 and the 15.6-inch R530. They are based on Intel Core 2 Duo processors and have 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive.

    The R430/R530 has an MSRP of $670 and the R780 $929 and are available now through Samsung resellers. The R480 and R580 will be available in March 2010 for $829 and $949, respectively.
