I like the external graphics card. What I have noticed recently is that many manufacturers are working with Intel HD 4000.

Note that the Ativ Book 6 has much in common with the Ativ Book 8. The key differences are discussed in this thread. USA customers should consider the Ativ Book 8 which, at the same price, has some advantages such as a bigger battery.

Too bad they don't use the same driver/track pad as the book 9. No driver issues here on my AB9 trackpad. Very Apple like. Samsung needs to eradicate crappy trackpads on all their notebooks right now. W8 cannot tolerate a crappy trackpad pure and simple. I enjoy using my well made trackpad on my AB9 (no touch display) But offering a crap trackpad just because you have the touch as a backup is lame. The AB9 works because its the top of the line, and there is no touch for back up. Sounds like Samsung is lazy. But other then that, I like the display on this. The AB9 15" suffers from a weaker TN panel.. although it does have matte. What I would rather see is that come with a IPS matte 1080P. If one can tolerate a 13" screen I would buy the AB9 13" matte (non touch) 1080P. MS store did have that for a thousand dollars which is a great buy for that machine and everything works as it should, including the trackpad and a decent 6 hours battery life as well as 2.6 lb form factor.

Anyone considering a Samsung notebook better be all over that deal at the MS store. I'm in Fiji right now and notice its not on the MS Australia web site. Probably just a North American offer.

Looks nice but I think I like the ATIV Book 8 better for value.

However, the Book 6, Book 8 and Book 9 (and preceding Series 5 to 9) all use the same Elantech touchpad.

Two possible issues come to mind: (i) The reviewer didn't find out about SW Update to check for the latest drivers and software and/or (ii) is in the minority who need to tweak the settings, such as changing the drag-and-drop.

From time to time I have to turn on one of my older notebooks and this reminds me how good the Elantech touchpads are (but the size is one major advantage).
