    Hi,

according to Engagdet http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/09/riteks-16gb-and-32gb-ssds-starting-at-a-low-low-169/ Ritek plans to sell its 16GB SSD for 169$ to OEMs along with a 32GB in Q2 2007, a 64GB SSD will come out at the end of the year.
I have a feeling Sandisk has to rethink its prices for the 32GB SSD :)

Well 169$ for 32GB is sweeet, and who needs more than that in a ultraportable (in combination with a external HDD) ?

Do you think these SSDs will be sold on the market ? (or only to OEMs) Cause i need one :D

That's definately not a horrible price. Does anyone know how reliable a brand Ritek is? I'm not terribly familiar with them.

Is the format in that picture a pcmia drive?

Is that what the 1.8 format is usually in?

    Well, and another one :)

    A-Data announced a 128GB 2.5 inches SSD-Drive and a 32GB Expresscard-Drive.

Production will be in late Q1, early Q2 .... the SSDs are coming and I definately want one :)
