Hello and here is my awesome review of the AST Bravo FAST!
I found to make a fast computer is as simple as taking out a sharpie and putting a fat letter F next to the AST logo! Don't believe me? just look at the pictures! This notebooks configuration is as follows

    A genuine intel 486 at 33mhz
9.5 inch passive matrix monochrome screen (lots o crosstalk!)
    4MB of Ram
    200mb hard disk drive
    a 1.44 mb floppy drive
Dead 9.6volt 1700mah nickel cadmium battery

I also loaded a fresh install of dos 6.22 and windows for workgroups version 3.11 workgroup also comes with some extras like the game hearts.
For gaming I have installed a true classic, Street Rod.

Speed: with a 486 running 3.11 everything is fast hardily a wait and will boot to dos in about 7 seconds after pushing the power button

Screen: very black and white you could say! :) also it has a ton of crosstalk and the passive matrix is very slow

Style: with a small footprint and all the cool stuff I added like a IBM thinkpad logo since I don't want it to feel bad this thing is read to take on the world and has plenty of power to do so.

Conclusion: this is a really good computer Yes I has some cracks and bits of plastic that have chipped off and rattle inside it but it still runs. Actualy the lamp unit inside it took a crap and I had a parts unit so I actually replaced the screen myself, I just didn't want to see another perfectly fine unit hit the land fills, heres the pics.

Sweet, what year are we talking here for this power ranger? And is that a 3D driving game I see you playing, what is that? Pretty advanced for a 486SX. They sure don't make 'em like they used to, no sir.

I would guess around a 1992 as going back to the bios the default date and time it goes back too is febuary 1991. The game is just called street rod, its sorta 3D and it actually will run on my XT with CGA graphics so its not really taxing the 486. another cool feature is that is has a built in track ball thats not pictured. the keyboard stinks though not enough key travel.
