The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can any of u guys from Asia/Australia please post a review of the Compaq B1800 series laptop. I am thinking of getting one from there (they are not yet available here in the US :eek: :eek: :eek: ) and I would like to know how it performs, battery life and stuff.

    I have heard virtually nothing about that laptop yet...once it comes to the U.S., I'm sure we will get a reivew.

    so, do companies send out laptops specifically for u guys to review?? i thought all the reviews here were written by the members who own such laptops...?

    Well, all the reviews done here are by members who own the latops yes, but the companies do not give them out. Sometimes, one of the Site Administrators will recieve a laptop temporarily to review.

    We get ntoebooks from Dell, Lenovo, Fujitsu, Sony, etc to review. We supplement these reviews with users reviews when we can.
