Rumored Dell Widescreen 14.1" Notebook Coming by Year End

According to a report by DigiTimes.comTaiwanese computer manufacturer Wistron will begin manufacturing a 14.1-inch widescreennotebook to compete with the newly released HP dv1000 and Compaq Presario v2000 notebooks recently released by Hewlett Packard. This notebook will likely not be released until near year-end though, possibly the holiday season. Wistron is rumored to have been asked to ship 30,000 - 40,000 of the new Inspiron per month.

Microsoft XBox 2 Peripherals to work With Desktops and Laptops?

According to a recent interview with Dean Lester, the Microsoft Windows Gaming General Manager, Microsoft plans to make all perpherals for the XBox 2 compatible with todays windows machines. This can be interpreted to mean that the XBox 2 will likely use USB 2.0 as the port for add-ons such as controllers. This would be a good move on Microsoft's part and a boon to consumers as we could then buy a controller or steering wheel and use it for games on both our video game system and PC. Wow, what a concept, not having so many controllers in the house you could rope their cordstogether and stretch them to the moon.

The VAIO T-Series is the "Burgundy Brown" colour of the T-Series, which can only be found in Japan only. Europes version of the T-Series comes with Bluetooth which is the only sector to do so??

Well, when a laptop appears on the FCC website it means it is in their test labs and furthermore generally means it will be available in about a month. So this "Burgundy Brown" (or just "red"!) should be available in the U.S. as well as Japan pretty darn soon.
