I was actually thinking about getting a copy of this for myself, but it seems like they were more concerned about integrated spam features rather that full functionality into the product.

It looks like Quicken isn't going to be one of those 'uncategorized' expenses on my spreadsheets :D.

I'll just stick to Excel for my financial needs. It doesn't crash or spam me.

There's something wrong with your HTML code...I can't see the article past "Read on..." and it happens on more than one computer in different versions of IE.

Over the years, I've used about every computer-based financial package, including writing my own Excel-based system. I was really never totally pleased with any of them.

Recently, I stumbled upon YNAB, and it fits my basic budgeting needs perfectly. No overkill, and no up-sell SPAM. Just a nice, well-designed financial budgeting program for the average family.

I have absolutely no connection to YNAB - just a satisfied customer. YNAB stands for "You Need A Budget." Simple - just like the software!

Good review! Quicken Deluxe seems like a good software but I would never use it myself. I'm not that type of a guy.
