not to bump my own thread but I reallllly hope MSI Wind has a BIOS switcher for switching the FN and the Ctrl key at the bottom left.

take a look at THIS picture:

    http://crave.cnet.co.uk/laptops/0,39029450,49297128-11,00.htm

for the life of me, i cannot understand keyboards that don't have the Fn key at the bottom left. as a touch typist, i always use the palm of my left hand to hit the ctrl key, and not having the ctrl key at the bottom left is a deal breaker for me.

    the search continues..

Yeah I had noticed that as well. :( It does disappoint me, but I have seen that design in Thinkpads before and though it IS annoying it isn't a deal breaker for me...

There is a tutorial how to cut and solder to switch the keys. It doesn't seem to invasive and the worst thing that can happen is that you have to buy a new keyboard...I do not have the link, but it was posted here on the forums.

Perhaps this thread? However, the ease with which the change can be made will depend on how the keyboard is assembled.

MSI still hasn't been able to ship the 6 cell batteries, plus they just raised the price of the WIND
