    the 12.1 doesnt seem to have support, but the first one does. wow I didnt think conroe would be mobile this fast. Maybe I should have waited...nah yonah suits my needs and then some.

    In a 15.4" no less. Considering the huge power requirements of the Pentium D, that is going to need a good cooling solution and a big power brick. Only a Go6800 though, I believe that notebook has been out for a few months. Probably a one-time competitor to the Asus Z81SP.

    Yes, that has 100% Core 2 Duo support; no BIOS update is necessary.

    I could not find anywhere that sold this notebook

    the thing is, Clevo had its d750w out 7 mos before the z81sp, and ALL of clevos notebooks that have upgradable video use the same form factor card. Just power requirements may change.

    someone even modded a 7800gtx into a m560a but the bios didn't have the WXGA signature and the display was messed up, worked fine with ext monitor.

    It has been out for a few months, but the PD info is new. I just thought it was interesting. It looks like it uses the brick from the original 9860

    its on notebook forums, ill try to dig up a link

    they also had to modify the case for exhaust and the heatsink too
