Thanks for the info. That's is certainly a beast, but not actually a new model like they want you to believe, and they really do exaggerate the specifications of it. It is a rebadged Clevo M590KE, which is also known as the Sager NP5960:

The M590KE is based on the M590K; it adds dual hard drives, a dual-core Turion X2, DDR2 memory, and a 20" display to the previous model.

All hail the king of mobile gaming laptops.

I am aware that sager also carries clevo models just like alienware & voodoo but no one else is offering 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 600GB of storage, and Blu-Ray-RW, so the PC MicroWorks Vega certainly stands out from the competition!

They certainly do. As far as I know, 300GB 2.5" hard drives have not begun shipping, so that laptop will most likely not ship yet if you get the top-end config.

ya you are right about the 600gb --it is specified that it may delay your order, but I would prefer the 200gb 7200RPM option anyways -- add 4GB of 667MHz ddr2 and you got yourself a sweet little package!

Because nVidia has yet to release a mobile chipset that supports SLI and Core 2 Duo. That's why there aren't any Core 2 Duo, SLI laptops. Only the X2 SLI. If you're looking for an SLI, Core 2 Duo Laptop then you might have to wait till about 2Q2007.
