Nvidia Announces Quadro FX 3500M with Availability for Dell Precison M90 Workstation

Nvidia today announced the new Quadro FX 3500M graphics solution, a new high-end card geared towards CAD designers that supports OpenGL along with DirectX and offers up to 512MB G-DDR3 memory, a 56-bit memory interface and up to 38.4GB/s bandwidth. The Dell Precision M90 workstation is the first notebook to offer this new Nvidia card. While the Quadro FX 3500 M isn't targeted at gamers per se, it will perform in line with the Nvidia Go 7900 GTX gaming graphics card.

With this power in a mobile graphics card format, CAD designers and other Digital Content Creation workers will be able to take their design work wherever they go (for better or worse). On the bright side, they'll also be able to run the latest games on their notebook to unwind a bit after a long day of designing 3D models.
