That's cool, I actually saw this laptop in person during the summer. They're thinking about bringing it to the U.S. next year. That facial recognition webcam is kind of cool, but not very reliable. The slot optical drive is of course a big thumbs up. That red button you see on the top right hand side didn't feel so good and the power button was really badly designed -- I hope they changed that.

Metamorphical Good computer user
They're pretty looking. An itty-bitty subwoofer of a 14-inch? There's something you don't see every day either.
-
I was excited when I heard Lenovo, 13", and dedicated GPU.
And then I saw the 14" laptop weight. -
aww damnit, just when I ordered the W7 too I like the looks of the 13.3" Y series.
-
Oh man I just ordered a T60 too Really dig the flush trackpad on the Y series.
-
hmmm...it looks pretty nice in the side view, but I don't like its front view...bah maybe its just my way of perception from different angles.
Nonetheless, its still pretty cool for Lenovo to release an "interesting" laptop that isn't branded with Thinkpad.
