AMD global notebook share may drop
    [IMG]
AMD's notebook share may dip below its current 12-13 percent to less than 10 percent next year according to a DigiTimes report. A key reason is the increasing shipments of Intel Atom processors, which are commonly fitted in netbook computers; AMD has no official netbook platform yet. Although AMD may be going after the netbook market with its Yukon and Congo platforms next year, notebook makers are unlikely to make the switch from Intel to AMD.

Is the DDR3 memory mentioned in this thread compatible with the new unibody Macbook?

It must be, since the unibody Macbooks got the next generation Intel mainboard, with the 9300m integrated GPU. But I think Intel said that there will be a middle one for the start 2009, which will be more as a Centrino 2 upgrade, and than in the late summer-whole new built from the ground platform for the Quad core CPUs, better integrated GPU, much better energy efficiency, smaller and lighter etc etc.
