Only thing missing is DVI :(

So does this mean nc8230>nc9430 and nw8240>nw9440 are coming soon? :D

I don't think this is a replacement for the current 8200 series. I'll expect a 8400 series showing up very soon. By looking at the 9400 you can tell that they're keeping the general design from the 8200, no big differences. My guess is that they've moved the mic, that's it.

In fact, there's a Nx8420 listed here with a price almost identical to the Nx9420 counterpart, although not much info about the hardware. I wouldn't expect a DVI connector though.

DVI and eSATA should be standard on all notebooks! Especially since (almost) all laptops have capability for both, you just need the connectors. It's not like you need an extra chip like you need for Firewire.

The nx9420 is nice by itself but I don't want to carry 17" around.

I sure hope a successor of the nw8240 is coming along, too.

It's not that bad after all that I did hold back ;)

    yeah! more more more!

Sorry, but I just could help myself on this one. New HP business models... Just what I've been waiting for.

Though I'm not too optimistic that they will announce more new stuff again so soon.

OK so this is it. To look at it positively, I won't have to settle for an upcoming, more expensive model :p

Wow - what happened to the NC8230/NW8240 replacements? Is HP just going to wait until the end of the year for Merom? :p

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering too. First I thought ChazMan was going to tell us about it, but he obviously meant the other models in his posts.

Yes, that's what I meant with "the other models", but we are looking for info about the Nw8240 successor:

What is people's opinion about the nx9420 for those that have bought it. Any buyers remorse or something about the laptop that annoyces them?
