New HP Netbooks and Notebooks Leaked
Details on upcoming HP notebooks have been leaked by Dutch sites. The new models include the 11.6-inch DM1, 13.3-inch DM3, and the 18.4-inch DV8. The DM1 will be based on Intel's Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) platform, utilizing ULV Pentium Dual-Core and Core 2 processors, while the DM3 will replace the current dv2 and use an AMD Neo MV-40 single-core processor. The dv8 will use Intel Core i7 processors. All will ship with Windows 7. Prices indicate the dv8 will be around 1400 Euros (more like $1,400 in the U.S., since notebooks are traditionally more expensive in Europe) and the DM1 will be 480 Euros (probably $480 in the U.S.). A later version of the DM1 with better specifications will be 680 Euros (probably $680 in the U.S.).The Pavilion TM2 has also been leaked; it is a tablet and expected to be similar to the current tx2. It is possible that the TM2 will not have an internal optical drive.
Last but not least, the Mini 311 netbook will have an 11.6-inch screen, Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. Unlike traditional netbooks, the Mini 311 will use Nvidia's ION platform and therefore have Nvidia GeForce 9400M integrated graphics instead of the Intel GMA 950. The Mini 311 will run Windows XP.

The Mini 311 will be something that'll worth looking forward to I guess.
Here's to hoping it'll have at least a 1280x720 screen or more =) -
Hopefully the DM2 will have less bezel than the DV2 and is a bit lighter.

Yeah a lot of netbooks have more bezel than screen. I'm hoping HP does really well on this new 11.6" and maybe drop any "special" designs. Hopefully the battery life is great. HP has no laptops with great battery life. Unless you get a bulky 12-cell.
