    You know what's funny, the new Vostros even have a better design than this -- and it's almost half the price with the exact same specs. Uninspired to say the least.

    How do the Vostro's have better design? Cuz they're definitely not built as tough as the Latitudes.

    Colored ones are ugly. Only the lid is colored unlike the previous versions. Seems like a downgrade, but I guess is means parts like the optical drive can now be switched out with out having to worry about color.

    The Vostro is nice, but the logo on the Latitude looks better and more subtle. I think I prefer the Latitude.

    Seems that Dell has gone the way of Lenovo - singular graphics for both its 14,1" and 15,6" Latitudes.
    I wonder why Dell swapped the locations of the VGA and DisplayPort connections?
