Acer's highly anticipated Predator 21 X gaming laptop, the world’s first curved screen notebook, is a monster in terms of both size and cost. The starting price of $8,999 means the Acer Predator 21 X is only for the most serious gaming enthusiasts and those who value the experience of using a curved display.

Wow, I did have to read that several times; $8,999 for the Predator 21X. Even if they put two Titan X's inside instead of GTX 1080's, that seems like a lot of money. Performance alone isn't selling it, that's for sure.

this laptop is so expensive and yet this is definitely not mxm compliant. I prefer clevo and/or MSI GT(barebone) laptops. All parts are fully upgradeable and easy to clean at a much cheaper price.
