This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    How has the Lenovo G550 been #1 for so long? I mean it's not like Lenovo is the most well known brand.

    I can understand a Lenovo being first,I just don't undersrand how this model(Lenovo G550) can interest so many people.I quess I am missing something.

    Not everyone has a 1000$ budget for a computer(I'd garner most people don't want to). If you look at the 400-500$ range, the G550 is one of the best options out there. At least it was a few months back, idk about now :p
