Each month we compile data for the number of times a particular notebook is viewed on this site's product pages to get an idea for what mainstream consumers are looking at and thinking about buying. While these laptops aren't necessarily the most popular in terms of sales, they are the most popular based on the number of times our visitors clicked on them.

In that sense, think of this list as the "most clickable laptops of the month" ... the notebooks that most of the people visiting this site are interested in learning about. Keep in mind that clicks directly on the "Most Viewed Laptops" list do not count toward the total in order to keep the list as fair as possible each month. The only clicks that count toward the monthly totals come from web searches like Google or from visitors who have clicked on a laptop after visiting our "Notebook Database" or inside our forums.

This month a huge increase in search engine traffic resulted in some pretty interesting changes to our most popular list. The Acer Aspire One family of netbooks continues to hold the number one spot, but the ASUS G51 series gaming notebook, Dell Latitude E4300 business notebook, and the Toshiba Satellite L500/505 series have each made the jump into the Top 10 list. Meanwhile, the Dell Inspiron 11z, HP ProBook 4510s and Lenovo ThinkPad X200 have all dropped down into the top 20.

"sysetm memory" might wanna correct that.

Nice, there are finally some new, strangely enough, the Acer Aspire One is still first, the T400 went down, the MBP13 is almost out, wow. Interesting results there.

Funny how the most seen threads are Owners Lounge...

Acer Aspire One still playing with a stacked deck. ;)

Can we at least get a rewrite of the description? The Aspire One is the latest "netbook" from Acer would be the 11.6" Z520 Atom with WXGA and Windows Vista not the original 8.9" model.

So the Dell E4300 has come to people's notice over a year after it commenced production! However, I'm not sure about the "incredible battery life". I put mine on a par with my E6400.

Hm, interesting how much netbooks have fallen off.

Anyone wanna bet by next year 8 of the top 10 will be ULV/CULV notebooks?

I fully agree with you Red. Seem like "the rise of the CULV" finally...
Strangely enough, all of them are ultraportable/lighter minus the SXPS16 and the G51...which became that popular due to the i7 IMO
