Nice to see the dv6000 at the top of the list again...definitely a testament to the notebook's sound design.

Funny...the #7 top thread is mine!

It sad to not see the nc8430 near the top...great notebook!

I didn't even realize that just about every one of the pavilions are in the top 20 (obviously if you don't differentiate between the t and z). No tx1000z though...

I obviously made a mistake by starting the Samsung R20 thread in mid-February. It's now up at over 8,000 views of which I would estimate between 5,000 and 6,000 were during March. It's number 2 on Google's list for the Samsung R20.

The Dell Latitude D620 made the top 10. I did not predict that.

dont worry, threads and stats like this really dont mean much.

Dell, IBM and HP are the 3 biggest fleeted laptops and as much as 25-40% of those sales are not really retail.
Take out that equation and the list of what 'consumers' are really buying will be much different.

for example..you ever go rent a car?? They all Fords and GMs. Well, ford and gm adds those fleeted cars and trucks to its overall vehicle sales per month.
Honda and Toyota doesnt fleet (rarely)their cars. True consumer sales tells the whole story.
In fact its fleet sales thats keeping Ford and GM alive right now.

With that said, laptops is no diff.
I have a personal friend who is a managing director at the TD Waterhouse building in my city. They go thru 800 HP's and IBM's every 5mths.
Sony doesnt wholesale fleet their laptops. So you'll be happy to know that the residual resale value of your laptop remains fairly higher than most

*But make note that this initial post is just 'viewed product' based on this sites stats.
Other than that the 3 most fleeted still is Dell, IBM and HP
