Fujitsu might not have shown a ton of new notebooks at CES this year, but they certainly deserve credit for innovative prototypes on display in their booth. Anyone want a fabric notebook? How about one made from corn?

Corn is used to make gas, plastic and maybe even laptops one day. Hope there's enough left over to eat, roasted corn was always a favorite of mine.

Wow. Didn't see a fabric notebook coming. Very interesting. If it becomes a reality I could see this sell well. Especially amongst the retro-centric designer crowd - if there is such a thing

im acctually worried bout other implications like heat and dirt or wt if te fabric tears....
hope it jus remains a concept

Corn farming corporations are geniuses, they've gotten processed corn into almost all packaged foods (high fructose corn syrup) and gasoline (ethanol, 10%). Corn prices get higher and higher these days.

Now that is hot. I know they use LCD TFT to create wallpaper that you could change year round, but this is a better use IMO
