Ugh. A gaming notebook with a 16" 1366x768 screen? Why bother with a GTX 285M unless you plan to use an external monitor?

the laptop is no Windows7 standard DX11 support
can't run 3DMark11 and further DX11 games
I would rather go for MSI-GT760

Yeah the 1366x768 resolution on a 16" screen is insulting, especially considering it is well over $1,000 and has a very powerful (albeit outdated) graphics card. It seems like this product should have been released months ago.
I think the exterior design is overdone as well - it is bordering on gaudy. Just some subtle color accents and maybe nice speaker grills would have been enough - IMO of course. I can see that the design might appeal to some people. -
Ewww. What a horrible resolution for a 16" screen. I'd hate having such a bottleneck in what could actually be quite a nice machine.
Why the GTX 285M? MSI just dug themselves a grave with that one... -

Well that notebook should run most games really well into the future, since you want to be running at native res, the low resolution means better frames per sec.
But the price is way too high for those specs.
You could upgrade the screen if it's such a big problem (probably lose warranty though). -
Does this laptop have backlight keyboard?
-
Nope no backlit keyboard....

Thanks!
And how about RAID settings are they in this laptop BIOS? -
that screen resolution is a deal-breaker.
