Hm. I was gong to say that it's interesting how the x7200 still outperforms the i7-2920XM, until I looked at the x7200 you reviewed and noticed that the x7200 you reviewed used an i7-980X as opposed to a more "normal" desktop processor. Oh, and I find
    very, very amusing. :D

Clevo can throw whatever fancy new hardware they want in their products as far as I'm concerned - the fact that they refuse to fix their lousy keybaord layout won't be winning my purchase at all.

It's ironic that every time one of their products gets reviewed online (here and elsewhere) there is always a valid comment made about their terrible keyboards, yet the company has been more than ignorant in failing to address the issue. I don't know for how long a company that fails to take such repeated criticism seriously can remain in business.

Have you seen the benchmarks? That's one of the ways. :)

That and they actually offer really great stuff for the price like FHD screens, including a FHD matte screen which are really rare these days.

Great review! Jerry, if you still have the unit with you, would you mind running DPC Latency Checker and post back if there are lag spikes in the red region? That would really help a lot!

Intel will start shipping out limited quantities of the new chipset to Clevo by the end of February. Sager will probably start shipping out these new units by mid to end March. Obviously the people on the pre-order list will be getting them first. It would be a good idea to get your order in asap since quantities should be limited for a few weeks after. Eurocom's schedule is probably similar.

I kinda like the brownish color of this laptop. Are all clevo p150's this color? Or is it a malibal exclusive?

Nice setup, except all that hardware and only an 80GB Intel SSD? LOL.

The design and thick frame wouldn't bother me for a laptop of this "category", I guess.

But otherwise I agree - amazing performance and a great review.

I dont think that design is dated at all, maybe the probem is that all clevo before this looked terrible to me.
