From first glance it’s easy to tell that the MAD CATZ Pro X is a gaming mouse. The sharp slanting lines and loud colors offer the aggressive aesthetic that many gamers expect from high-end peripherals. But my favorite aspect of the mouse, has to be the air gap design. Pieces float and weave underneath one another looking as though their suspended in thin air. The futuristic design isn’t just about looking pretty though. The MAD CATZ Pro X is a modular mouse, meaning that many of the device’s components can be removed or readjusted according to the user’s preference.
