The Lenovo ThinkPad Z60t is a 14.1" widescreen (WXGA) notebook that can be configured with a high end 2.13GHz Pentium M processor or cost saving Intel Celeron M 1.5GHz processor. With this laptop the ThinkPad tip-toes gingerly into a more consumer oriented notebook space, but still maintains the business style look, build and features that ThinkPad notebooks are best known for.

Honestly, I think once is enough.

Conspiracy to buy a ThinkPad!
Probrably a connection inflation that caused the multiple sends....or something -
i'll, uh, not get into the details but there's a job on the server that went a little skitzo and did this.

Great job on the review and addressing the questions from the preview and also doing comparisons with the T, X and Z series. I'm actually more interested in the X series now from this review.. Though I wish the resolution was higher for that series.

BTW you could sync your watch to it, every hour on the hour about 5-10 copies get reposted instantaneously.

Good follow up to your last "Review"; although this time, you make the Z series sound better...
When it comes down to it though, I'd much rather have a T series...
Good review, nonetheless

Andrew, wonderfully done!
I must say, your writing is stellar - it's very informative, yet you keep it going with a bit of humor tied into the whole article. Well done, I enjoyed reading it all the way through.
I'm glad Lenovo is keeping the ThinkPad the way it should be - sturdy build, great keyboard, and slated toward business. I think the Z-series is a great move, because it will attract those who didn't consider ThinkPads before because they were too 'blocky', or just too business-oriented.
I hope you enjoy your new machine!
Chaz -
Nice to see that the lid lifting was just a clip not being put back.
Great laptop. -
The widescreen is touted in your review as being able to support 2 document pages side by side--however, I've read reviews of other 14 and 15 inch widescreens with 1200x800(or 768) resolution that claim that two documents side by side with that resolution doesn't work-ie. they're blurry or otherwise unreadable or hard to read--and that the remedy would be much higher resolution...
Have you tried 2 documents side by side on this machine? can you post pics of such a display?
I am thinking of a 760m with the max brite(1200x800res) and all the bells and whistles when it finally gets released, however it would be disappointing if the widescreen's purpose(for me) is defeated by unreadable graphics..
and i realize there are other resolutions coming-but not, evidently with the maxbrite
hard to believe that you can be expected to spend $2-3000 for a machine and not get to see it anywhere in person before it's delivered..(yes, i am aware of the return policy) -
Certainly the 1200x is NOT wide enough for two documents.
It is more like you have the web browser and an IM running side by side.
No way could you fit a word document and a web page to work comfortably.
Just my observations after spending 2 weeks with a 15.4 Widescreen display. -

I guess I like my websites at normal size with no horizontal scrolling bar.
Anyway, how scratchproof is the Titanium lid? Does it hide scratches better than the T4x's?
Thanks
