Do you think its worth the price? for 11~13 inch laptops? because I was considering to buy one.
-
I read the base is now starting at a bit under $700 and with the IPS screen in can be had for about $740, which I think is a very competitive price, specially since, if I am not mistaken, comes with a class exclusive IPS display. Plus, the battery life is better than average. Right now I am pretty tempting to get one, but something in the back of my mind stops me.

You do give up a lot getting it down to under $700 though (No OS, Celeron 847 @ 1.1GHz). A more realistic starting price would be $850.
I would say its worth it though if you are in the market for a good ultraportable. -
battery life is WAY over average. I get a minimum of 9 hours on the 9 cell. normally 11-13.
as for price ... go haggle with reps or get a good coupon code, mine was had for 1300 CDN ( minus the SSD and RAM upgrade )
its by far the best traveling companion I EVER had -

Edit: If someone is looking to save some money, take a look at the DOS page: (Takes forever to load at my end.) http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/builder.workflow:Enter?sb=%3A00000025%3A00002E43%3A&AID=10383968&PID=3640576&SID=skim525X832X19d36493e5a11118be75392936cad3c0&CJURL=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.lenovo.com%2FSEUILibrary%2Fcontroller%2Fe%2Fweb%2FLenovoPortal%2Fen_US%2Fbuilder.workflow%3AEnter%3Fsb%3D%253A00000025%253A00002E43%253A
Handy if you have a Windows disk already or can get one for cheap. (Student, etc.) Or if you don't need Windows. -
I thought I misread that in that Lenovo thread, but wow that is a bit odd the i3 cost less than the ulv i5. How much better is the battery life on the ULV models? Is the LV cpus offered also, or is that skipped?
