There are a couple other models in the tabook that also have BT and WWAN. Also, there's an Ultrabay Slim option that gives you a native serial and parallel port.

Question,
If you had a perfectly great T42, would you upgrade to the T60? -

Thank you, I'm a notebook junkie, and in fact just gave my old IBM i1700 laptop to a friend to do some light work and surf the web from her home. I've been a huge supporter of thinkpads for many years, and like a shopaholic would love to get a new one- just 'cause .(was mortified when IBM sold to Lenovo) I was thinking about the new tablet PC but the screen is the same size as my Toshiba tablet, which is my main complaint about it (plus is crashes regularly) -

Kan you use a docking station for older ThinkPad models (i.e. second hand docking stations) with the T60? If so, which ones?
Thanks. -
Hi Andrew,
Really impressed with your review! It was very concise and highly comprehensible... I just got a T60 and I'm trying to disable the touchpad. I pressed fn+f8 keys but the laptop does not react? I tried fn+f9 aswell to se if the functions work but it just does nothing?
Do you have any ideas on why this may not work for me? Its not urgent but it's just annoying when I'm typing away and then suddenly sentences end up all nestled into another without me realising it??
Thanks in advance for your help...
kind regards,

The battery life is pretty lame. They do have a high capacity one that you can get for this model. I got one at simplemicro.com for $65 (generic though) at this link:

It is 6600mAh, slightly bettery than the original ones capacity.
