Hey NYU3, do you know where I can find an old keyboard, if necessary?

Regarding the keyboard issue, in my modest opinion the new keyboard design (keyboard plate full of holes) was not done to reduce weight, but to best dissipate the heating (the ATI graphics generate a lot of heat).

In my opinion, Lenovo should consider the use of the former T60 keyboard plate if the ordered machine have integrated graphics and other "cooler" components, like slower processors.

I just ordered a T500 last week to replace my ageing T60. In case I found the T500 keyboard so inferior as described here, I will use the old T60 keyboard on it.
