A question about the new touchpad design:

When I'm on a laptop with a touchpad I always turn it off because I always touch it accidentally. I either use an external mouse or a pointing stick. Can I do this with the new design? Eg. turning off the bottom part of the touchpad (so not touching it accidentally) but still be able to use the top as pointing stick buttons?

I have found new info in your review of the actual usability of the new layout. :(

Yes, of course, in the driver or in the BIOS.

So only the top parts of the touchpad will be active and they will only work as buttons (you can't accidentally move the cursor with them)? Interesting. I haven't seen a good review on how useful or comfortable the new TrackPoint "buttons" are.

I read the review, but I see that only a 720p screen is offered. Can this be had with a 1080p screen?
