Yeah ... an acquaintance of mine recently purchased this machine and has been using it for a little while now. He has good things to say about it in general, but especially lauds the "bang for the buck" ratio. When I have looked at it and fiddled with it it seemed okay, tho the aesthetics are not my personal cup of tea.

Looking for a laptop that can handle CoD and Battflefield. I don't care for all the latest and greatest games but want something future proof if that's even possible. Seems like the i7 y500 is the best bang for buck. I really looking to spend as little as possible.
