Hrm ... not especially interesting for some reason.

Are the IdeaPad series really selling that well in the business market?

Battery life wasn't too impressive, although I was impressed with the temp control! :)

No idea how they are selling, though that's a good question.

IMO it's strange Lenovo is making a business-oriented IdeaPad; they already have the budget ThinkPad notebooks like the SL, L, and Edge.

    I can't even find the IdeaPad V series on Lenovo's site . . . hmm.

    Thank you for the review.

How is the metallic surface doing in terms of fingerprints?

The metal surface shows fingerprints and dust/dirt but is quite easy to clean; it is also easier to keep clean than glossy plastic. Overall the metal looks very nice. This is a well-built notebook.

That's not a half bad looking notebook. I honestly think HP and Dell would do well to take their design cues from Lenovo.

Apart from the hinge and the bottom half, it looks a lot like a (current model) Probook or Elitebook, so either HP already took their design cue from Lenovo, or it's the other way around. :D

Well, externally, anyway (with the notebook closed).

But this (the Ideapad V460) is a business model...
