    Lenovo IdeaPad U450p Leaked
    [IMG]
One of our forum members has discovered that Lenovo's website has leaked an unannounced IdeaPad model, the U450p. No information is known about the U450p's specifications, but it appears to be a larger version of the U350, based on the Intel Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) platform. Specifications will most likely include an ULV Core 2 Duo processor, LED-backlit 16:9 screen, and integrated Intel 4500MHD graphics. Given the U350 has a 13.3-inch screen, the U450p may have a 14-inch screen.

See Lenovo's website here - look at the image at the top of the page.

It is funny how there are tons of posts and links when using Google, and they all direct here...No further info is yet available. Just this one.

Oh please, Lenovo, dont make this a CULV! It would be better if a LV or an SP is used!

    Yeah, that's pretty funny.

I like this. I would prefer they made one that's 12" or one like the new Acer 11.6" netbook-esque but notebook. I just wish Lenovo had different color lids...

    Specs would most likely be..?

Does that mean dedicated graphics is still a possibility?

I am thinking, just a supposition, due to its thin body:
A CULV or LV CPU. But I really hope something like the SP found on the T400s.
The p normally stands out for higher graphic performance on older ThinkPads, so I think a GPU is possible. Base model might come with Intel GMA. Lenovo uses ATI normally, so I think a 4330HD or a 4570HD with some luck. But lately is turning to NVIDIA, so a G105M, G110M or with some luck a GT2xxM.
HDD as normally a 5400RPM up to 500GB
RAM, Lenovo uses DDR3 on all their models, so I think this is not likely to change. Up to 4 I think.
Windows Vista Home Premium as OS with Win7 for free? Or directly into the Win7 world.
WiFi Intel 5100 is what most IdeaPads use. I think we might see a WiMax sometime.
Display, Lenovo is using LED 16:9 displays for quite some time, so this is not likely to change. Unfortunately, I think we might get stuck with WXGA. With some luck we can see a 900P screen.
Multi-touch trackpad as is their new standard since the Y650.
Full sized Lenovo KB. really hoping for backlit, but they dont do this, not even on ThinkPads.
Same type of body as the Yx50 or U350 laptops I think.
    Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
    6 cell battery life

This is what I think is the most likely to have...I am just using the other laptops as reference and applying into this one.

I hope it gets the 6 cell. The U350 has a gross 4 cell battery.
