This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Looks okay to me ... nothing I would personally go out of my way to buy though. ;)

    Why, Lenovo, why? :( I guess this is their budget line, but that's still no excuse for this kind of resolution in that display size in 2010.

    Has anyone bought the laptop? How is the sound quality and its noise levels? I find it hard to find reviews about the specific model on the internet, so any kind of feedback about it is welcome...

    Obviously not since you have the 8710w... just like you wouldn't go al cheapo with a 500 dollars compaq laptop.

    These machines are usually either for people as a first cheap laptop or for people whom needs a second laptop at home for internet, word processing, etc, but at the same time don't want to spend too much.

    Well seeing as the G550 scored #1 most popular laptop here on NBR for a few months straight maybe this one will take its place :p

    It looks nicer than the G550 too :eek:
