    It's always interesting to see what the accessories manufacturers come up with.

    The security locks are more of a deterrent than a theft-proof device unless there is a secure anchor point. If the cable is just wrapped around a table leg then it is usually possible to pick up the computer, slide the cable down the table leg, lift table slightly to release the cable and then take both for a walk.

    As for the mouse problem, I usually use a sheet of normal paper (not shiny) for a mouse mat. This reduces both dirt pickup and the wear on the plastic pads on the bottom.

    Best mouse pad for me. Period.

    Works for me great. And wait, its price/performance ratio is super! :D
