We've reviewed several models of the eGo series of external hard drives from Iomega over the years. The eGos offer a variety of stylish storage solutions to keep your important files safe. In recent years, I omega has focused on colorful casings, slimmer portable drives, and a range of storage capacities. Ah ha ... good review ... this drive roughly provides 2 1/2 more speed on a usb 3.0 port than on a usb 2.0 port then.

The fact that usb devices have the possibility of being powered from the usb port rather than an external power source is one of their main attractions imo.
