    Didn't A-DATA already do this? It had both USB3.0 and SATA2 [3gbps] interfaces on a 2.5" form factor...

    Indeed. It's even at the top of the list in the "related articles" list in Amber's post.

    This Iomega drive is external only and also only uses USB 3.0 (and 2.0 since USB 3.0 is backward compatible). The Iomega drive is also physically smaller (it's a 1.8-inch SSD in an external enclosure).

    The ADATA drive is an internal 2.5-inch SSD that also doubles as an external USB 3.0/2.0 flash drive. The Iomega on the other hand is a 1.8-inch SSD in an external enclosure that functions like a super-fast USB flash drive.
