    After releasing a Windows 8 app called Winspresso this week, Iolo is finishing up System Mechanic 11.5, a new PC tuneup package for Windows 8, 7, Vista and XP.

    Not true.

    With keyboard and mouse, use alt-F4 while in the app, or bring up the "other apps" pane on the left side of the screen and right-click on the app to bring up the option to close it.

    With touch, drag the thumbnail of the app from the left side of the screen to the bottom of the screen to close it.
