"For the home user, we'd say Wi-Di is a necessary feature for an future laptop purchase."

LOL. Wi-Di is nothing for movie buffs as it doesn't do 1080p (yet). It has other limitations, and competing standards are out there.

I see how wireless video streaming from your laptop (or tablet/smartphone/etc) could become a killer feature. But saying Wi-Di is a "necessary" feature for future consumer laptops is a bit too strong imo. Wi-Di in its current form is not even close to a killer feature.

As a lot of us know Best Buy had a 6 month exclusive contract with Intel to offer WI-DI on 3 exclusive Best Buy Blue Label Laptops. Those 6 months are coming to an end this June, I believe June 17 as the 3 WI-DI laptops at Best Buy debut January 17th.

My question is, since the exclusive contract is up. When will we start to see more WI-DI equipped laptops at Best Buy?
