Intel Working on SSD Firmware Bugs
    [IMG]
Many users of Intel's new 34nm SSDs reported the latest now-pulled firmware update was bricking drives under WIndows 7 64-bit. Intel has now verified the issue and is working on a fix for the 34nm X-25M SSDs.

Hopefully there are no problems with the SSD's when I buy one a year from now. :)

...and between this issue, the last firmware bug, and the firmware bug before that one...

Anyone feel like updating their firmware when Intel releases yet another update?

    Oh, let us not forget...

I just bought an SSD...from OCZ. Sorry Intel. Maybe when the G3 SSD comes out and we know it is okay, or maybe after the next firmware update has been out (and stable) for a few months I'll get a drive from you. Maybe.

Maybe I'm a pessimist, but Intel has been making too many wrong moves. I hope this fix is the right one.
