The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    There has been a lot of recent marketing about ink. Many top manufacturers are pushing their messages about how their ink is cheaper, or greener, or better in general. We'd like to get a feel for how you feel about buying ink.

    If I don't have time to order online, sometimes it's cheaper to buy an entire printer on sale then to buy the cartridges locally. I've done that twice in the last two years to save money.
