I'm on both FB and Google+. Only 10% of my FB friends have G+ accounts. I don't know ANYONE who is on G+ exclusively, though I know people who use their G+ account more often than FB. Because I can't get or do anything on G+ that I can't do on FB, and I can connect with a LOT more people on FB, I find FB more appealing.
I don't lose any sleep about the privacy concerns on FB. I have always thought of it of it as a conversation with friends in a crowded cafeteria or in the middle of Times Square. Yes, you're talking to your friends and not standing up on a stage speaking directly to the crowd, but there's a good chance someone will overhear, because you're having that conversation with friends in a public space. So don't say anything on FB that you absolutely, positively wouldn't want anybody but the listener to hear. Privacy problem solved. This is something we deal with in the non-electronic world every day, and nobody freaks out about it. -
I deleted my account yesterday so I have 13 till it completes. I have google+ it's taking quite a bit to get the hang of it, but I love the idea...

I already dumped facebook, and I'll never use google+. Perhaps I'm in the minority?

While I'm concerned about FB and privacy, I still have it as I don't say or post anything stupid on it that might catch negative attention. I really only use it to see what everyone else is up to, and the occasional chat with a friend.

I dumped FB more than a year ago, will never be on Google+ and have a Twitter account where my tweets are not part of the public timeline. I've had little to no desire to return to FB.

While I like how G+ is going up against FB, the problem I have with it is that I already use other Google services that data mine my information, mainly Gmail. I'd rather not have all my eggs in one basket, so to speak.

Don't want your privacy compromised then don't upload stupid, delicate files. That simple.

I'm still using myspace , did I miss something?

Personally, I skipped MySpace since I had no need for social networking at the time. Still, the only reason I got into it was precisely because I transferred high schools (and currently, some of my friends are in different colleges or jobs). Otherwise I would have skipped Facebook too. -
I am still continuing with FB. Logged on Google+ a couple of times but failed to get the hang of it.

I could never get rid of FB, too many friends too many pictures and all my life on it...LOL...
I do have a google+ account, however I never used it. Most of the people I keep in touch with are using FB and they are living all over the world, so I could never possibly keep it touch with them so often, if it wasn't for it.
Obviously I try to take care about my privacy as much as I can, and my facebook VPN settings are on.
Technology is there available to use it, and damn I will! -
I face the same problem. Facebook is like all these big banks on Wall Street....at this point its just too "big to fail"
But really I've got too many friends and family on Facebook and it would be difficult to quit cold turkey... -
Here's another funny article that goes along with the other stories out there about top Google execs not making much use of Google + themselves and usership of G+ taking a huge dip...

Never used fb, interested in checking out google +. Is it still invite only?

Checked it out myself once, but can't see myself using it. -
Too deep in FB now. Google+ will have a hard time knocking Zuckerberg off.
