both Dell and HP had a ripping quarter with selling laptops.

Yet even in the highly competitive personal computer business, the trend is positive. The unit's profit was double the year-earlier level. Personal computer revenue advanced 17 percent from the comparable quarter in 2003, led by a 23 percent advance in notebook computers, which carry higher prices and higher profits than desktops.

i'm not supprised the mobile market is so price sensitive, there are not so many people out there that need something more than a averrage laptop this days.Dell and Compaq do this with good warranty and return policy and here it is. That's the result of a good name and low price
