Honestly my only real complaint about the refresh is that they didn't stick a little stronger graphics in it. Other than that I think its a great refresh for the dm4 series and the pricing is very reasonable.

Ahbeyvuhgehduh Lost in contemplation....
I wonder about its sturdiness and heat control, though.... -
Should have put USB 3.0 in it...

What peripherals utilize USB 3.0 besides external HD's?

Seems like there is no e-SATA connection either - is my conclusion correct ?
EDIT -
I found my answer within the review - no e-SATA : I missed that info on my first reading of the review. -
Just purchased this from HP with a build date out to Sept. 9th and got the free xbox 360 slim as well all for $800. I'm excited to get it and see how it performs and what if any heat issues it might have. I'm going to obviously push it a little hard over the next year while it has a warranty I'm talking about the laptop, not the xbox. I'll be very, very gentle with the xbox, wouldn't want any red rings...
Is there an owners thread for this laptop right now? I can't find it anywhere after an advanced google search. I found these threads here on nbr:
Alps driver for dm4x on retail win7
HP ENVY 14 beats Edition vs. HP Pavilion dm4x - Page 2
HP dm4x
HP DM4X Questions and Alternatives?
and I found a review but had to stop watching before I killed myself it was so bad (sorry if the reviewer is nbr member).
If there is not an owners lounge or at least a good thread on this laptop someone please start one and link me to it in here. If it just doesn't happen for a while I'll start it but the laptop isn't even here yet so I have nothing to write about besides specs everyone already knows.
Any tips for first time setup and use? It will be my wife's main laptop.
