This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Isn't the 6 hour life bogus? Posts in the notebookreview forums show people are getting 4:30 at best.

    That 6 hours is with wireless off, brightness all the way done, and the notebook idling. Every manufacturer quotes that as the battery life. Take the quote and 75-80% of that is the actual normal battery life

    envy 14 is a great laptop, though you have to overclock the the gpu because they downclock them below normal speeds
