    Windows 8 doesn't have a "poor desktop experience". It's virtually identical to, though an improvement from, Windows 7.

    Companies have been selling 7 all along, and it's just like with XP-ridiculous ignorance and an anti-8 meme that cause it to sell. There's very, very little to recommend 7 over 8.
