A 4860 would be nice....two would be even better. ;)

Voodoo would have done two....HP I don't have that kind of faith in.

dammit my laptop's arriving tomorrow and then HP teases me with the DM4 - considering the DM3 could house Amd Neo / Intel CULV / Intel SP9xxx and Ati 4330/3200 or Nvidia g105m this thing could one-up it, steal Apple looks and have neater specs still (4200+4530-70 // intel 4500 + nvidia g210 anyone?)

An Envy 17 was a given once they announced the line and if anything the Envy 14 was more of a surprise.

Will there be a Envy 12??
I am dying to know the specs of the E14....if it comes out earlier, and with good specs, I am willing to change my E15 for the E14...

I am also interested in a slight lower cost 12in machine(11.6in optimally) edge 2 edge, with the same specs as the Envy 13, but even better battery life with the battery slice.

Somehow I don't think the Envy will be any cheaper than current models, after all they're supposed to replace the Voodoo line. They're premium models for those with the right budget (ie. a lot of $$ to spend). While they would sell a lot more and still make good profit selling them for a few hundred $$ less, it's more of an exclusive/elitist thing.

    Lol^^^^

Hm, with how thin the 15 is i wonder if there would be any space. That being said this IS a bigger size so the chassis should be bigger as well.

I don't actually expect HP to put two cards in the E17 but I'd take a second card and even a little extra bulk instead of the ODD.

Even better would be a later launch and a 5800 card and a 32nm Arrandale w/IGP.

    (I like your avatar Red)

Well, the E17 seems like a direct competitor to the Apple MBP17. And I remember reading somewhere that if HP did a 17 model the only competition would be the Mac.

And Dell launched something to compete with the Mac Mini, with more flexibility or so it seems...hmmm things look hard for Mac.

But back to topic. The Dm4 looks interesting, considering the Dm3 is a very nice piece of hardware, with switchable graphics...
