Fujitsu has released four new notebooks into the LifeBook lineage, including the LifeBook NH751 desktop replacement, E751 business notebook, S751 notebook, and the P771 ultraportable. All of the notebooks either offer or come built with Intel Core i7 CPUs (including the ultraportable).

Nice to see another 14inch with 1600x900 option
but S751 really needs a backlit keyboard or nice GPU...

TIL that Fujitsu offers portable workstations too! It's a shame because Lifebooks have always been known for excellent screen panes but I heard build quality is not on par with the competitors (Dell, Lenovo, Hp)

Specs wise i think that the P771 looks good. I like that the dvd drive can be interchanged with a removable battery.
Unlike the HP Elitebook this uses a 2.5 drive as a main HD.

Visually i much prefer this to the Lenovo x220. Still, i think that they should focus more on design. It seems that there has only been minimal changes over the last five years for some models. I'm also not so sure about the scroll bar though being on the palmrests. I think that this comes in white in Japan as well.

It's a shame that's not offered in North America or Europe.

They also haven't moved over to 16:9 which is a rarity these days.
It's likely that I will purchase this or a P770 to replace a P7230 at some point as I find the Fujitsu international support to be the best out there, and this product has held up well over the years.

Anyone care to comment on how the screen quality is on the 12in P P77x series?
