If you’ve been shopping around for a new hard drive for your notebook because the size of yours just isn’t cutting it, Fujitsu announced today the global launch the MHX2300BT series of mobile SATA hard disk drives in 250GB and 300GB sizes. They are the first 2.5-inch Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) hard disk drives in the industry to hit the 300GB mark.

Wow! 300 GB! Thanks for posting that!

I personally will probably never fill my 100 GB, but there are those out there who need their HD space. They'll love this.

That is...a lot of space >_>

Cool link--perhaps with the launch of more hi-def content we'll see the need for more storage.

I'm looking for a larger 7k2 hard disk before I get a new drive, though.

I'm sure those who can have dual hard drives will love this:
    1) 60GB @ 7200RPM for main drive
    2) 300GB @ 4200RPM for deep storage.

    It's simple math, Cori.

    Arm + Leg = 300 GB HD

I prefer to wait for 320G Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) HD with 5400 or 7200 rpm ....
:). Maybe next year it can be available...
