    Dell introduced its Inspiron 15 notebook today, featuring a 16:9 aspect ratio 15.6-inch display. The value-oriented notebook starts at $600, and is available at Best Buy in select configurations and at Dell.com. Best Buy's $599.99 configuration includes the following specifications:

    • Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 processor (2.0GHz/2MB L2/800MHz FSB)
    • 4GB DDR2 RAM
    • 15.6-inch WXGA (1366x768) display
    • 320 GB hard drive
    • 6-cell battery
    • Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
    • 1-year limited warranty

    I've always thought the Dell Inspiron line was too bulky and thick, and this new model hasn't changed my impression. Not too bad starting price though, for what you get.

    I saw this yesterday in BB. I like the color and the size for me isn't an issue. Kinda wish it had HDMI tho.

    That's a great deal at 600 for having a C2D, 4GB RAM, and a 320GB HDD.
